(Brows right after my touch up)
Oh my goodness Mamas… I cannot begin to express how much I’m obsessed with my eyebrows!!! I literally can say..
“I woke up like this”!!!
Seriously, y’all need this in your life if you’re looking to cut your time getting ready in the morning and optimizing your time for you know mama stuff work stuff momtrepeneur stuff! You get where I’m going with this.
My girl has all the info on her Instagram and Beaudee Spa Fb Page and website. Follow her @Beaudeespa. Check out her Instagram highlights, which has all the info regarding the difference between microblading and ombré powder brow procedures. She is the most amazing ombré powder brow artist there is on the market. I have been searching high and low for such a high qualified (3x certified) and talented eyebrow specialist!!!
I was totally sold when I saw her fb pics and IG pics! Literally scrolled through the entire feed and there was not a brow I disliked.
Communication via email was the best when querying various concerns.
My primary concern was the fact that I was still breastfeeding my daughter. And you cannot get a semi permanent tattoo if you are in fact breastfeeding. It was perfect timing because I was already weaning my baby off the boobies.
R E A D the whole email Dee sends in it’s entirety!! Do not just glance. I repeat. Read thoroughly and ensure you comprehend all instructions! And ensure you respond to all questions thoroughly and honestly. You do not want to end up in a situation where you’re about to get your ombré powder brows and have to be sent away due to various reasons.
DO YOUR RESEARCH!
See if ombré powder brows are for you or if micro blading is for you or simply filling in your brows with a brow pencil is for you. There are pros and cons to any service but choosing what is best for you at the end of the day it is your face so choose wisely.
I recommend to go darker than you think will look best.
(Final healed brows)
Alright on to my experience.
Dee took her time going over any additional concerns. Then she begins to work her magic and sketches your brows ahhhh this where it gets exciting. Dee definitely is thorough and listens to your desired look and also provides her opinion when you ask. Once you’ve reached your desired eyebrow look, she then numbs your brow area. This takes about 30 minutes. Then… The actual tattooing of your eyebrows.
I don’t know how I was able to tolerate 2 hours of a regular body tattoo.
Because after 20 minutes of the actual tattooing, I was legit dying of pain! And I am usually have a high tolerance for pain too! I seriously think things changed after giving birth to my daughter. Alcohol tolerance went up and Pain tolerance went down!!!
Do not let the pain factor deter you away from getting ombré powder brows. It seriously is so worth it. And everyone is different! This procedure may not be so painful for you!
At the end, she makes sure you are satisfied and retouches any corrections you want done. She also applies some A&D ointment. Now depending on your skin type you may have to apply this once a day or once every other day.
Proper after care is crucial! Ensure you follow all instructions.
After a week or week and a half or so your brows will start to peel! Do not freak out lol. People told me that all the time but I freaked out anyway. It looks like spots are lighter than the areas where you did not peel yet. It’s okay. Once you’ve peeled completely the color of your brows will get slightly darker.
Then you come back 5-6 weeks later for your touch up!!! This session is for you to either go darker or just to touch up certain areas or the shaping.
And now I’m set for a year until my yearly color boost!
I’m obsessed!!!
And ombré powder brows have my seal of approval.
The following pictures are of me peeling and looking sad!
